Reliance has launched its Lyf F1 smartphone in India. The phone priced at Rs 13,399 in India is now available for purchase at Reliance Digital stores. Buyers of Lyf F1 will also get a free Bluetooth speaker worth Rs. 3,000, as well as a Reliance Retail gift voucher worth Rs. 15,000. A 10 percent cashback offer is also available for Citibank cardholders.
Reliance has decided not to position this model as part of existing sub-brands (Flame, Water, Earth and Wynd), and Lyf F1 does not have a middle name.
Lyf F1 phone sports a 5.5-inch full-HD touchscreen display (resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels at a PPI of 400 pixels per inch) with Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 1.21 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 617 SoC ((four cores clocked at 1.52GHz and four cores clocked at 1.21GHz), along with 3 GB RAM, and 32 GB internal storage expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The phone also features a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, 8MP front shooter for selfies, and 3200 mAh non removable battery. The Lyf F1 runs Android 6.0.1 and measures 155.50 x 77.60 x 7.90.
This dual SIM smartphone accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, Micro-USB, GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack connectivity options 3G, and 4G VoLTE support. Sensors include Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity sensor, and Accelerometer.
Other ‘smart’ features of Lyf F1 include Smart Ring and Smart Play. The Smart Ring feature helps locate the smartphone even when the device is on silent mode. With Smart Play feature, you can pause a playing video when looking away from the display. The smartphone also comes with carrier aggregation feature that provides faster speeds and better battery life.
The Rich Communication Services (RCS) feature on Lyf F1 will offer enhanced rich messaging services on SMS and allow users to share files and location when on a live call.
