Bolton takes centre stage at National Regeneration Conference thanks to local firm Seddon

The vibrant new “Born to Perform” brand of Bolton is set to captivate the UK’s largest gathering of property investors and developers this week, thanks to the initiative of local construction firm Seddon.

The Bolton-based company has proudly incorporated the borough’s fresh identity into its exhibition stand at the annual UK Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) in Leeds.

UKREiiF is a key event in the urban regeneration calendar, attracting over 15,000 delegates, including some of the biggest names in the sector. Amidst the industry giants, Seddon, a prominent local business, is seizing the opportunity to champion its hometown.

Launched earlier this year, Brand Bolton is the result of a collaborative effort involving residents, local organisations, and businesses.

It encapsulates the borough’s spirit of achievement across various fields, celebrating its economic successes, thriving businesses, strong community networks, sporting prowess, outstanding cultural assets, and overall quality of life.

The “Born to Perform” tagline aims to provide a unified voice for promoting all that Bolton has to offer.

Seddon’s prominent presence at UKREiiF is part of its broader role as a We Are Bolton Ambassador. This network comprises individuals and organisations dedicated to promoting Bolton as an ideal location to live, work, study, visit, and invest.

By showcasing Brand Bolton on a national platform, Seddon is actively contributing to this mission.

Peter Jackson, Managing Director of Housing Partnerships at Seddon, expressed his enthusiasm: “As a proud local business, we’re thrilled to help shine a spotlight on our hometown at this year’s UKREiiF.”

He highlighted Seddon’s deep roots in the community, with many team members residing in Bolton and the company actively involved in various local projects, from economic growth initiatives to housing and school developments.

“As a We Are Bolton ambassador, it’s an honour to support Brand Bolton at the UK’s premier property and development conference,” Jackson added. “We’re especially excited to see the ‘Born to Perform’ message brought to life.”

Bolton Council Leader, Cllr Nick Peel, lauded Seddon’s proactive support. “Bolton is Born to Perform, whether that’s on the stage of our famous theatres or when it comes to the ongoing regeneration and transformation of our town centre,” he said.

Cllr Peel emphasized the importance of initiatives like Brand Bolton in fostering a renewed sense of excitement and confidence within the borough, which he believes will be crucial in attracting further investment.

“As a local business with a strong sense of community, I want to thank Seddon for promoting Brand Bolton at UKREiiF and giving us a platform to promote major regeneration opportunities like Crompton Place,” he concluded.
