Be Ready to Check UP Board CLASS 12 and CLASS 10 Results at upmsp.nic.in in First Weeks of June

 

Uttar Pradesh UP Board Class 12 and Class 10 results are expected to be declared by the first week of June, and students should check their results at official website ummsp.nic.in once the results are declared by the board.

This year, UP Board Class 12 and Class exams started in March due to assembly elections in the state. Because the exams were delayed, the results are also being delayed and will be declared only by month end.

In 2017, about 34,04,571 students were registered for Class 10 exams and 26,24,681 students for Class 12 exams.

In 2016, UP board Class 10 exams started on February 18 and concluded on March 9. The Class 12 exams also started on Februay 18 and concluded on March 21. The exams were held in two shifts: Morning and Evening.  More than 68 lakh students appeared in these exams: about 37,49,977 for high school exam and 30,71,892 for intermediate exam.

Girls outshined boys in both High School and Intermediate examinations. They got an overall pass percentage of 91.11 in Class 10 and 92.45 in Class 12.

In comparison, boys registered an overall result of 84.82% in Class 10 and 84.35 in Class12.

All the top three positions in Class 10 and Class 12 were secured by girls.

Saumya Patel of Vibgyor Public Inter College Chandauli, Rae Bareli got first position in Class 10 exam with 98.67% marks. The second spot was secured by Iqra and Umrah Mahmood of the same institution.

Sakshi Verma of Barabanki topped the UP Board Class 12 exams. Sakshi was a student of Barabanki’s Maharani Laxmibai Memorial Inter College and got 98.20% marks to top the Class 12 Board exam.  She scored 99 marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics, 98 in Hindi, and 96 in English. She had scored 96.83% in Class 10 to get the fourth position in the state.

“Initially, I was in a state of disbelief but the fact started to sink in as time passed by. UP board top rank was totally unexpected. I had thought I would be lucky if I am even able to cross the 95% mark,” Sakshi said.

Sakshi’s father is a school teacher, while her mother is a housewife. Her sister Apoorva had also topped the UP Board Intermediate exam five years ago.

“In my leisure hours when I wanted to relax, I played chess. It was such a stress buster and a brain exercise too,” she says.

“Had I got a chance to participate in any competition, I would have excelled in the field as well,” she says.

  • Click on the relevant Class 12 or Class 10 Result link.
  • Enter your details like roll number to get the result.
  • Download/print the result for future reference.
