DAV College is the largest college in Dehradun in terms of number of students. The college has also announced that students will have to do online registration this year to get admission in the college. Aadhar card will also be needed for registration and admission. A new website has already been created and will be launched tomorrow by CM Trivendra Singh Rawat.
Every year, DAV College sells college prospectus to students for Rs 15. This system will now be replaced with online registration, enabling students to get admission in a variety of courses including BA, BCom, BSc, MA, MCom, MSc, etc. The registration will be free of cost and any student can fill his/her form directly at the website. The college will then release a merit list on the basis of online registration and enroll students in various courses if their names appear in the list. According to College Principal Sh. Devendra Bhasin, the marksheets of students will be checked and verified this year to prevent any fraud during admissions.
