Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched its 4G-enabled Vivo Y55s smartphone in India for Rs 12,490. The phone will go on sale in the country from Sunday, February 26, 2017.
The camera-centric smartphone features 5.2-inch HD display (720×1280 pixels) and a 2.5D curved edge screen. The phone is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor (clocked at 1.4 GHz), and comes with 3 GB RAM, 16 GB inbuilt storage, a 13MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Vivo Y55s also comes with Smart Screen-Split feature allowing users to multi-task as well as use two apps simultaneously.
Vivo Y55s is basically an enhanced version of Y55L that was launched by Vivo in October 2016. The device was powered by Snapdragon 430 processor and was equipped with 2 GB RAM and 2650mAh battery.
Vivo Y55s will be available in crown gold and space grey. It has three card slots, where third slot supports an external memory of 256 GB. The phone boasts a 2,730 mAH battery.
